Our main research focus is the development of photochemical reactions facilitated by halogen bonding interactions, with particular emphasis on processes involving the transient formation of alkenyl radicals.

We are also exploring additional research areas, including photochemical homologation reactions between N-tosylhydrazones and boronic acids, enantioselective photobiocatalytic transformations, and light-driven reactions using acylsilanes.
